PROVIDENCE, RI – Governor Daniel J. McKee and the Department of Environmental Management (DEM) today announce the award of $2.525 million in reimbursable grants under the Brownfields Remediation and Economic Development Fund for the cleanup and redevelopment of contaminated properties, known as brownfields, across Rhode Island.
